A feast for the eyes with the light and dark greens and a shock of orange. Your palate will love the clean taste.
Diet Types: Low Calorie, Low Carbohydrate, Low Fat, Low Sodium, Vegan, Vegetarian
Ingredients:
  • 4 large outer leaves of chinese cabbage (Nappa)
  • 1 carrot, cut into long sticks
  • 1 bunch watercress
  • brown rice vinegar
  • Serves: 4
    Cooking Time: Under 30 minutes
    Instructions:
    In a large pot with a steamer basket, steam cabbage leaves and carrot until tender, about 5 minutes. Remove, rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process and pat dry with a paper towel. Remove steamer basket, add more water, bring to a boil and add watercress. Boil 1 minute, remove and rinse, pat dry. To assemble: Lay cabbage leaf flat. Place watercress at bottom end at stem and place a carrot stick on top of it. Roll up tightly, cut into 1" pieces, lay flat on a plate and sprinkle with Brown Rice Vinegar.
